Course Objectives: This course aims at giving students knowledge in order to not only use information systems extensively, but also be able to analyse information systems from the viewpoint of a business professional to make necessary changes to help firms to win the economic competition as we entered into a society of intelligence.
Course Contents: This course will cover the state of the art of hardware, software systems and computer networks that can be used in the business context. Yet, It deals with building an Information System strategy in line with the strategic needs of the company, the development, implementation (including how to address change management issues) and maintenance of Information Systems which create sustainable competitive advantages.
