Course Objectives: 1. To teach basic concepts of international sales law 2. To get familiar with the international sales law terminology 3. To comprehend the scope of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods of 11 April 1980 (“CISG”)
Course Contents: Provision of a comprehensive introduction and background to the international sales law with an emphasis on harmonization and unification of law at a globalizing world trade.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit (LO):
  • 1- to have knowledge about international sales law
  • 2- 2. to have knowledge about sphere of application of CISG
  • 3- to have knowledge about obligations buyer and seller under CISG
