Dersin Amacı: | Bu ders, Uluslararası Politik-Ekonomi (UPE) alanındaki temel tema ve tartışmaları devlet, piyasa, yerel aktörler, ve küresel aktörler arasındaki komplike etkileşimlere farklı analiz düzeylerinde odaklanarak kapsamaktadır. Dersin amaçları UPE’nin önemini anlatmak ve göstermek, öğrencileri UPE çalışmalarında yararlanılan ilgili teorik ve analitik yaklaşımlar hakkında bilgilendirmek, alandaki ana tartışmaları incelemek –teorik ve ampirik, ve öğrencileri onların kendi araştırma sorularını sormaları konusunda (UPE alanında) cesaretlendirmektir. |
Dersin İçeriği: | Bu ders, Uluslararası Politik-Ekonomi (UPE)’nin anlaşılmasında ve çalışılmasında gerekli olan teorik zemini sunmaktadır. Her bir ders tematik olarak UPE alanındaki bir temel konuya odaklanmaktadır: Uluslararası üretim ve ticaret yapıları, küresel finans sistemi, devlet-piyasa etkileşimi ve kalkınma, doğrudan yabancı yatırım, 2018 küresel ekonomik krizi, uluslararası yardım, yükselen güçler, ve günlük yaşama odaklanan politik ekonomi. |

Dersin Öğrenme Yöntem ve Teknikleri | Öğrencilerden derslere gelmeden önce zorunlu okumaları yapmaları beklenmektedir. Oturumlar öğrenci-odaklı olacaktır –eğitmen bir yol haritası ve arka plan sunacaktır fakat öğrencilerden katkı sunmaları ve zihin açıcı fikirler ve sorular sunmaları beklenecektir. |
