Course Objectives: Enabling students to deliver complete 2D representations of their work and introdudcing them to advanced drawing tools. Covering basics of drawing and editing. Ensuring students are comfortable at advanced phases of representation process.
Course Contents: Advanced 2D rendering in a common 2D environment. Studying basics and roots of digital reprentation of 2D geometry. Introduction to complex 2D architectural drafting techniques.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit (LO):
  • 1- To be able to adapt the principles of basic drawing techniques to digital environment
  • 2- To be able to express the knowledge of construction on digital environment
  • 3- To gain technical knowledge on a drafting software
  • 4- To gain the skills to express their design ideas towards an advanced presentation via a software
Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods: It is an application course in a lab environment. Each week the given objective is expected to be completed under direct supervision of lecturer. Methods learned are constantly bridged with examples from the practice to keep interest in the subject alive.
