Course Objectives: 1. Developing an ability to provide alternative economic policies to current economic problems. 2. Developing an ability to analyze and process economic data. 3. Gaining an insight regarding the importance of economic policies and to be able to critically analyze them. 4. To be able to apply principles, theories, concepts and analytic methods of macroeconomics.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit (LO):
  • 1- To learn the main concepts in macroeconomics.
  • 2- To learn the main concepts in microeconomics.
  • 3- To be able to develop analytical skills in order to analyze economic data.
  • 4- To critically analyze economic policies.
  • 5- To be able to provide alternative policies.
  • 6- To be able to engage in research and present the outcomes.
  • 7- To be able to realize the ethical side of economics as a social science.
  • 8- To be able to interpret graphs, tables, and data.
