Course Objectives: This course aims to provide an overview of a unique human experience-care giving- and how caregiving can impact our mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health
Course Contents: Social, institutional, relational as well as inter-individual aspects of caregiving will be examined in light of the current scientific literature and research findings.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit (LO):
  • 1- to apply theoretical knowledge of psychology in a variety of applied settings that involve care givers and takers.
  • 2- to identify and explain human physical, behavioral, emotional and cognitive processes involved in aging
  • 3- to evaluate critically empirical evidence and claims utilizing theories and previous findings on the topic
