Course Objectives: To teach students the following: 1. to be able to define, explain and interpret theoretical knowledge in traffic ppsychology 2. to be able apply theoretical knowledge of traffic psychology in a variety of applied settings 3. to be able to identify and explain human behavioral, emotional and cognitive processes
Course Contents: This course examines the definition and the application areas of traffic psychology. Moreover, Individual behaviors, perceptions and emotions in traffic, research findings and procedures that improve security in traffic, ways to keep the order in traffic, cultural differences in these applications, substance use and traffic, psychometric evaluations are some of the topics that will be covered in this course.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit (LO):
  • 1- Will be able to define traffic psychology and area of ​​interest.
  • 2- Will be able to define driver behavior.
  • 3- Will be able to determine new behavior teaching methods.
