Course Objectives: To teach the students the following: 1. To be able to define, explain and interpret theoretical knowledge in experimental psychology 2. To be able to apply theoretical knowledge of experimental psychology in a variety of applied settings 3.To be able to identify and explain human behavioral, emotional and cognitive processes 4. Be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner using visual, verbal and written tools
Course Contents: In this course, students will have the chance to select a topic of investigation, come up with hypotheses, create an experimental design, carry out the experiment and report the findings of their experiment, under the supervision of a faculty member.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit (LO):
  • 1- To learn the fundamentals of information processing approach
  • 2- To Learn the different theories on human attentional processes
  • 3- To improve scientific paper reading and criticizing skills
