Course Objectives: To teach students the following: 1. to define, explain and interpret theoretical knowledge in social psychology 2. apply theoretical knowledge of psychology in a variety of applied settings 3. Have the skills and abilities to follow advances in psychology and other related sciences. 4. To communicate in a clear and concise manner using visual, verbal and written tools
Course Contents: These courses examine and discuss a selection of topics related to the area of social psychology (self and identity, inter and intra-group processes, social identity theory, prejudice, propaganda, etc.) in detail in seminar format.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit (LO):
  • 1- Students will gain a thorough understanding of existing attitudes and persuasion research.
  • 2- Students will gain an understanding of the types of methods that attitudes and persuasion researchers use, and will be able to think critically about experimental methodologies in general.
  • 3- Students will be able to take a critical stance when dealing with social problems both in their personal lives and in society.
