Course Objectives: The course aims to develop students’ critical and analytical thinking skills and aesthetic sensibilities through an introduction to a range of interpretive frameworks and theories to be used to analyze and contextualize art and visual culture, and to contribute to their individual development.
Course Contents: -Students will be able to synthesize a theoretical and experiential approach in their development for creative self-expressin, aesthetic sensibility, and an understanding of the arts.
-Students will learn to apply the ability to evaluate aesthetic and creative approaches to art and a range of topics including visual culture, visual language analysis in individual and social contexts.
-Students are expected to develop creative practices by using different experimental methods and to develop creative applications in digital platforms.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit (LO):
  • 1- Being able to develop their own creative and original thinking skills in accordance with the form of knowledge and aesthetic sensitivity and analytical modes
  • 2- Being able to discover and interpret our visual world
  • 3- Critical thinking – students can acquire and analyze information, synthesize, evaluate and apply information
  • 4- Being able to develop an understanding of the various theories and interpretive frameworks that can be used to contextualize and analyze art, and visual culture
  • 5- Developing skills to express themselves in written, oral, and artistic practices within art terminology
