Course Objectives: This course is concerned with understanding “color “ and its implications at different media. It includes an exploration of the physical and perceptual nature of color theory, the physiological,psychological and emotional impact of color in the fields of visual arts and space perception. As being an essential element of the design process, color is considered with its relationship to form and space by emphasizing color models. Color schemes and computer simulation programs and advances of technology are studied in the course.
Course Contents: Course Contents The course covers issues related to color theory, color fundamentals including physical and psychological factors. Studio based lectures are given, and two projects are completed within the course. The practice of color and design at different media is practiced through the given term project.
